Bitmain is committed to decentralized Bitcoin mining, and this is the first Bitcoin IoT product launched by Bitmain. The AntRouter R1 is small and exquisite in appearance, and has five major functions: Bitcoin SOLO miner, mini WIFI hotspot, fast USB charger, universal router, and Bitcoin mining host.
Bitcoin SOLO Host
The AntRouter R1 uses a unique solo mining mode, with a hashrate of about 5.5GH/s. After binding a Bitmain account, you only need to keep the R1 powered and connected to the network to SOLO mine. Once mining succeeds, you can get 25 Bitcoins (1% fee).
Mini WIFI Hotspot
The R1 has a built-in WIFI module, using the 802.11g/n standard, with 150M transmission capability, which can turn a wired network into WIFI. The R1 software uses the openwrt system, which can realize advanced functions such as wireless relay.
Fast USB Charger
The R1 has a built-in USB port with a maximum output current of 2A. Connect the R1 to your device with a USB charging cable to charge. Supports Android phones, iPhone, iPad and other tablets.
Universal Router
The R1 has a dial-up router function, supports PPPOE and other protocols. After connecting the network cable, simple settings allow access to the broadband operator.
Bitcoin Mining Host
The R1 can be used as a mining controller; through a USB HUB it can connect to multiple AntMiner U3.
