AI keeps absorbing little utilities like this one, usually in a handier form than mine. So I weighed it up, shut the backend server down and moved this blog to a fully static site — it runs faster, worries me less, and spares me a lot of ops work.

“IP Address Lookup” needs a server-side API, so it cannot run on a static site and has to go. It served a lot of people over the years and I am glad it helped. Thanks for visiting all this time — I hope you find an equally good replacement elsewhere. Everything that can run purely in the browser, I will keep maintaining.
