Today, January 27, 2015, our site’s CDN distribution network broke 10G of traffic this month! If it were an ordinary virtual host, that would mean this month’s traffic might be used up! Let’s take a look.

Seeing monthly traffic broke 10G today, I also checked the detailed statistics chart and saw something: distribution traffic keeps increasing, on one hand because visitors increase, on the other because I provide more and more higher-resolution images.
From the access statistics chart, around late June/early July 2014, visits suddenly dropped, then slowly recovered over a long time. I thought about it — at that time I was at school preparing for a competition in Taiwan, so had no time to tend the site and basically didn’t update. Also probably Baidu’s algorithm updated; I saw in forums many said it changes every day, unstable. Now I post new blogs every few days, visits slowly recovered, and Baidu ads earn a few dimes a day.
My CDN distribution network isn’t just for myself; it’s also for clubs or other friends I know. When they load large images it may be slow, so they put them here, but the volume is small and negligible. I also saw many trying to access /admin, /backup, etc. URLs, but my site isn’t an ordinary website — it’s Alibaba Cloud’s cloud service, won’t have a backend, and is fairly safe for now.
