As a webmaster, posting external links and exchanging links every day, I wonder: are friendly links really that important? Will they still be important in the future? First, why friendly links? In the earliest WEB 1.0 era, website content was generated by the site, and users couldn’t participate in editing. As a search engine, how do you judge the importance of a page on the network? By links — the more links pointing to that page, the more important and valuable that page is. But now it’s long past the WEB 1.0 era. Website content is generated by users, with stronger interactivity, shifting from data-centric to user-centric. I like to think from another’s perspective: if you were a search engine operator, how would you find useful things for your users? Relying on just a few links? Will friendly links still be important in the future? How much significance remains? With the upgrading of search engines, I personally think friendly links are just an unimportant reference, and truly useful pages aren’t determined by just a few links.
