Instant Loading! Google to Fully Roll Out AMP Technology — It May Affect Rankings

In November 2015, Google released a technology called AMP (Accelerated Mobile Pages), which strips out the parts of web page code that slow down loading, letting sites load instantly. Recently, foreign media reported that Google will officially launch this technology on the 24th of this month.

Last November, Google launched a new technology called AMP (Accelerated Mobile Pages), which lets sites load almost instantly, and hosted the project on GitHub.

It is reported that Google’s AMP technology is a technique for building web pages in a static mode. It mainly provides a reliable and practical browsing experience by limiting some code (such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, third-party scripts, etc.) and some plug-ins (ad trackers, etc.) that easily slow down page loading, which greatly improves page load time and is very suitable for mobile sites.

Google said:

Undoubtedly, AMP technology can greatly improve site loading speed, so we hope to popularize this technology. But it must be emphasized that this is only one factor affecting search ranking, not all sites that adopt AMP technology will see a big boost in search ranking. Search engine ranking considers the comprehensive factors of a site, so relying only on AMP technology is far from enough. Of course, if all other conditions are equal, a site with faster loading speed has a clear advantage in user experience, and therefore also in search ranking.
