The US Congress passed a law under which the Department of Defense will release its surplus IPv4 address blocks to the market: 6.0.0.0/8, 7.0.0.0/8, 11.0.0.0/8, 21.0.0.0/8, 22.0.0.0/8, 26.0.0.0/8, 28.0.0.0/8, 29.0.0.0/8, 30.0.0.0/8, 33.0.0.0/8, 55.0.0.0/8, 214.0.0.0/8, and 215.0.0.0/8 — 13 /8 blocks in total, roughly 218 million IP addresses.
